They don’t know

I want to talk about something that will quite possibly make you uncomfortable. As I’ve said before, grief is messy. People with grief are messy. On the inside. Sometimes on the outside too. At least 50% of the time, we don’t know what we need. How could you possibly know what to say or do?

The realities of grief

Once grief holds you, you’ll never be the same. This is good. This is the greatest event to ever hold you. It wraps it’s big ol’ arms around you, scoops you up, and tells you to hang on for dear life.

It caught me by surprise

I’m not bitter. I have the deepest love to give now. I’m not stuck in the past either. Or holding onto what could have been. This is real life, right now.
